Lewiston, Lorraine Marie Wachholz, 70, of Lewiston and formerly of Rochester passed away Saturday, May 02, 2015 at Lake Winona Manor. Lorraine was born April 22, 1945 in Viroqua, WI to Otis and Marge Swenson. She graduated from Desoto High School. Following high school she moved with her family to Rochester. Lorraine married Willard Wachholz on May 19, 1973 at Immanuel Lutheran Church - Silo. They farmed north of Lewiston. Lorraine also worked at Lewiston Journal and Riverside Electronics. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when she was 50 years old. Lorraine had a good sense of humor. She enjoyed living on the farm and outdoor activities. She also enjoyed crocheting, polka-dancing, listening to music and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles. Survivors include her husband Willard, three children; Pam Fahy of Hokah, Amy (Dale) Schuldt of Dakota and Wade Wachholz at home on the farm, two grandchildren, Tristin and Caden, her mother Marge Swenson and five brothers Eldon (Rhonda) Swenson, Jeff Swenson, Greg (Ellen) Swenson and Jerry Swenson all of Rochester and Ronnie Swenson of Eau Claire, WI. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister. Funeral Services will be 11AM Wednesday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles with the Reverend Samuel Morsching officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery at Silo. Friends may call from 5-8PM Tuesday at Hoff Funeral Service in Lewiston. They may also call one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.
