Lorraine "Tudy" Feine

Lorraine “Tudy” Feine, 98, of Rushford, MN died on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford.

Tudy was born in Wilson Township, of Winona County, MN to Otto and Lucinda (Belter) Braatz on May 8, 1925. She was baptized at the Wilson Lutheran Church and confirmed at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona. Tudy was married to Walter Feine on September 18, 1943. They had two daughters: Lois and Pat. They farmed in the Hart area for 16 years, moving to Winona in 1959. She drove school bus for six years, worked at Stott Glove Company for one year, National Food Store for 18 years, one year at Red Owl, and then seven years for Winona Knitting Mills, retiring in 1987. Wally and Tudy spent their retirement years in Arizona during the winter months and summers at Money Creek Haven Campground in Houston, MN.  Tudy did many crafts while in Arizona and at home. Camping and snowmobiling were enjoyed by Wally and Tudy along with many of their friends and family. Their campsite at Money Creek Haven Campground is still enjoyed by her grandchildren.

Tudy is survived by one daughter, Pat (Jerrold) Mades of Houston, MN; son-in-law, Robert Kingsley of Rushford; five grandchildren: Steve (Jodi) Kingsley, Tim (Stacey) Kingsley, Thad (Kara) Kingsley all of Rushford, Kimberly (Ron) Mitera of Plainfield, IL, and Karla (Chad) Beach of Dakota, MN; Twelve great-grandchildren: Ashley (Justin) Boldt, Bree (Zac) Reicks, Dylan Kingsley, Danielle, Sam and Calli Kingsley, Bryce and Morgan Kingsley, Payton and Sidney Mitera, Lilly and Lucy Beach; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Engler; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; parents; daughter, Lois; and sisters: Vera Brand and Beverly Sobeck.

There will be a memorial service for Tudy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, at Hoff Funeral Home in Rushford. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Tudy’s body will be cremated with burial at the St. John’s Brand Cemetery in Hart, MN at a later date.

The family prefers memorials directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church or the Good Shepherd Lutheran Apartment Fund.
