Lorraine Buege

Lorraine May Buege, 78, of St. Charles died Tuesday December 18, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.Lorraine was born September 28, 1929 in Rochester to Thomas and Cora (Johnson) Nisbit. She and Raymond Buege were married June 2, 1951 in Winona. The couple lived in Alaska for ten years before returning to Minnesota. They later moved to California, where they lived for 23 years, before returning to St. Charles in 1987. While in Alaska, Lorraine worked for the US Government. In California she worked as an accountant for Yuba County Social Services. Her husband Ray died June 17, 2002. Lorraine was a member of Living Light Church of Winona. She also belonged to the Royal Neighbors of America. She enjoyed garage sales and trips to casinos. Lorraine especially enjoyed time with her grand nieces and nephews. Survivors include a daughter Lori (Mike) Graham of St. Charles, a brother Bill (Audrey) Nisbit of St. Paul, several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews and her cat Snuggles. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.Funeral Services will be 2PM Saturday, December 29th at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles with Pastor Sonny Misar and Pastor Daniel Kautu officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles.
