Linda Schloegel, 64, of St. Charles and formerly of Lewiston died Sunday, April 9, 2023 at her home. Linda was born September 25, 1958 in Winona to John and Rita (Kallas) Schloegel. She graduated from Lewiston high School in 1977. Linda attended Winona Vo-Tech for two years before attending Winona State University. She later moved to the Twin Cities and worked for Singer Sewing Machines, creating their ‘How To Do’ books and microwave cooking books in the infancy of microwaves. Linda later moved to Florida, living in Safety Harbor for 13 years. In Florida she was a chef at a vegetarian restaurant. After her mother’s death in 2014 Linda returned to Lewiston to help care for her dad and worked at Riverside Electronics. Following his death in 2019, Linda moved to St. Charles. Linda was a creative person. She enjoyed painting, yoga, arts and crafts.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert (Debra) Schloegel of Rochester, Ron Schloegel of Winona, and Jim (Josephine) Schloegel, several nieces, and nephews and feline friends, Albert and Elliot. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2023 at Hoff Funeral Service in Lewiston. A visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday and 10 – 11 a.m. Monday at Hoff Funeral Service – Lewiston. Burial will be at a later date in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Lewiston. www.hofffuneral.com.
