Linda Pizarro

Linda Carol Pizarro, born on April 11, 1949, in VanNuys, California, peacefully passed away on September 8, 2024, at her home in Winona, Minnesota, surrounded by her beloved family, after courageously battling dementia. She was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Edith (Walkup) Jones. Linda married Eugene Pizarro, and together they established their family in California.

For many years, Linda devoted her career as a Medical Secretary at a county clinic in Lancaster, California. After the passing of her spouse Eugene in 1997, Linda relocated to Winona, Minnesota, to be closer to her son Aaron and his family and her daughter Alicia. Linda found joy in the simplicity of life - collecting angels, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and admiring the talents of icons like John Wayne and Elvis Presley. A soul with a wanderlust spirit, she delighted in traveling between California and Minnesota, as well as her cherished trips to Hawaii.

Linda Carol Pizarro will be remembered for her compassion, generous heart, and unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Linda is survived by her children, Christian Pizarro, Alicia Pizarro, Aaron (Julie) Pizarro; grandchildren, Ka'Lee, Cameron, Jaron, Jadon, and Jaxon.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; and siblings, Margaret, Millie, and Kenny.
