Linda M. Reps

Linda M. Reps, 61, of St. Charles died Monday at her home in hospice care.Linda was born August 13, 1952 in Arcadia, WI to Bill and Elaine (Mundt) Degnan. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1970. Linda and Darold "Pete" Reps were married on May 8, 1971. They later divorced. They had made their home in Lewiston and rural St. Charles together. More recently Linda lived in Saint Charles. Linda worked as a waitress, most recently at Good Sport in St. Charles, serving many meals with a smile and kind words. She loved to spend time being in touch with nature. Linda was known for always seeing the good in others, being a 'life teacher' and never giving up on others. She was proud of her 18 years of sobriety and helping others. Linda had the true heart of a servant, always putting others before herself, which made her an outstanding wife, mother and friendSurvivors include her children; Melissa (Tom) Shea of Viola, Adam "Boomer" (Dana) Reps of St. Charles and Mekenzie (Chris) Hoff of St. Charles, her two grandchildren, Ryan and Bronson, who she loved spending time with, her mother Elaine Degnan of St. Charles, siblings; Kathy (Jerry) Edwards of St. Charles, Marilyn (Dennis) Redig of Detroit Lakes, Bill (Lisa) Degnan of Utica, Sue (John) Mundy of Wabasha and Tom (Lisa) Degnan of Broomfield, CO, as well as a special friend Pete Hermanson. She was preceded in death by her dad, former husband Pete and mother-in-law Darlene Reps. A Funeral Mass will be 11AM Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Reverends Kurt Farrell and James Callahan officiating. Burial of Linda's cremated body will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8PM Wednesday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles.
