Linda Kay Steffes

Linda Kay Steffes, 70 of Winona, died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at her home.
Linda was born April 23, 1950 in Winona to Donald and Hazel (Thiele) Monson. On November 8, 1969, she married the love of her life, Timothy Steffes at St. Martin's Ev. Lutheran Church. They had two sons, Mike and Patrick. Once the boys were in school, Linda went back to school and graduated with a nursing degree from Winona Technical College. She worked at Watkins Manor, Tomah Care Center and Callista Court before retiring.
Linda enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing games and posting uplifting thoughts on Social Media. Her family was her world, and she enjoyed every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike (Mandi) Steffes and Patrick Steffes; three grandchildren, Paige, Makayla and Payton Steffes; sister, Sharon (Doug) Fruetel and many beloved nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim in 2012 and her parents.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be 3 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at Cornerstone Community Church, 1001 44th Avenue, Goodview led by Funeral Celebrant Jen Corcoran. Visitation will be 1 p.m., until the time of the services. Masks and social distancing are required.
