Utica, Lewis Reiman, 80, of rural Utica, died Sunday August 17, 2008 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. He was born October 3, 1927 in New Effington, SD to John and Mary (Martin) Reiman. Lewis later moved to the Utica area. He was a farm hand for Leo O'Meara. For many years he worked as bull hauler, hauling livestock to South St. Paul, returning with freight. Lewis enjoyed socializing with and the camaraderie of his friends, most especially his dialysis group from Gundersen Clinic. Survivors include six children; Lewis (Sharon) Reiman, Jr. of Utica, Cynthia Thorn of Houston, Patrick (Boon) Reiman of Clear Lake, IA, Leo (Cathy) Reiman of Houston, TX, Brian (Kimberly) Reiman of Marion and Jeff (Tanya) Reiman of St. Charles, 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Ada Reiman of New Effington, SD and Bernice Reese of Ortonville, MN. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Funeral Services will be 11AM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles with Funeral Celebrant John Wagenaar officiating.
