Leslie Iverson, 89 of Winona, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at St. Anne Extended Healthcare.
Les was born October 18, 1929 in Barrett, MN to Tollef and Anna (Neitzel) Iverson. Les married the love of his life, Ada Matthees on October 15, 1960. He worked as a mechanic for local companies, eventually retiring from CD Corporation.
Les enjoyed tinkering in his garage - building and repairing engines; he also enjoyed hunting and loved being outside.
He is survived by his wife, Ada; children, Peter Iverson, Marlis (Richard) Ferden, Tom Iverson and Sara Iverson; step-son, Phil (Brenda) Rausch; grandchildren, Haley Kvam, Maicee Iverson, Andrew Ferden, Aaron Ferden, Tanner Iverson and Emily Gibbons; great-grandchildren, Max Kvam and Ryder Iverson; and brother-in-law, Harold Kjeldahl.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview with Reverend Paul Kuckhahn officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Les will be laid to rest at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Norton.
