Rochester, MNLeonard Ralph Schrader, 49, died Saturday, December 4, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Leonard was born June 24, 1955 in Rochester, MN to Clarence and Maryland (Balcome) Schrader. He married Sandra Lynn Janzow on August 27, 1977 in Silo, MN. Leonard was a cook and worked for various restaurants in Rochester. He had been a cook at Bethany Samaritan Heights for the past seven years. He had served in the U. S. Navy. Leonard was an avid MN Vikings fan, enjoyed watching professional wrestling and fishing. Leonard was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church on Rochester, MN. Survivors include his wife Sandra; daughters, Kimberly Schrader of Rochester, MN and Danielle (Rodney Smith) Schrader of Eau Claire, WI; his father, Clarence and step-mother, Marlene Schrader; sisters, Barb Schrader and Shannon Schrader both of Seattle, WA; half sister, Lisa (Richard) Hannenberger of Kasson, MN; step-sister, Andrea Parkin of Wabasha, MN; mothers-in-law, Evelyn Janzow of Lewiston, MN and Shirley Blockstad, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, brother, David, father-in-law, Elmer Janzow and brother-in-law, Keith Janzow. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2004 at 2:00pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Silo with the Rev. William Meilner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
