Leo Herbert Miller, 74, of Lewiston passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.
Leo was born to Herbert and Rose (Schneider) Miller on July 25, 1941 at the Galesville Hospital in Galesville, WI and was brought home to Lewiston, MN, Utica Township where he has lived all of his life.  He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1960 and he married Sharon Curry.  They later divorced.  They had two children - Jeffrey and Kevin. He later married Carolyn Janikowski. They later divorced.
Leo was employed by Biesanz Stone for 38 years. He worked in the quarry, processing, delivery and installation..  He was an avid sports fan, enjoying mostly the Packers.  He was also known for his enjoyment of playing cards, going on trips, and occasionally going to the casino.
Leo's was an exceptional gardener and shared most of his produce with friends and family.  He also was an excellent fisherman and loved to fish for Trout.  He caught the largest Trout in 1964 that weighed 7 lbs 10 oz.in Garvin brook.  Fishing for sunfish and crappies at the Minnesota City Boat Harbor was also something that he enjoyed.
Leo is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey of Baraboo, WI and Kevin of Sacramento, CA; one grand-daughter, Kaylee of Battleground, WA; a sister, Audrey (Terry Stieger) of Davenport, IA and her two children, Scott and Lisa; also by special family members DeAnna (Mike) Sorenson and children Emily and Alex, John (Tammy) Hamman and children Elianna & Joelle, and by Patricia Hamman, as well as many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and special friend Marion Simon.
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 29th at 12:30pm, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in Lewiston,  Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service.  Burial to follow at Stockton Cemetery, followed by a gathering of friends at Stockton Valley Saloon. And perhaps some euchre.
