LeEtta Louise Nietz, 99, of St. Charles, died Friday morning December 21, 2012 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester. She was born May 5, 1913 in Plainview to Edward and Ida (Boehlke) Schultz. LeEtta graduated from Plainview High School. In 1936 she graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester. She and Walter Nietz were married November 6, 1939 in Plainview. In 1952 the couple moved to St. Charles where they owned and operated Schultz Implement and AA Fertilizer and LeEtta was bookkeeper. She enjoyed time in her garden, also baking, shopping and collecting her treasures, playing bridge and spending time her family and friends. Survivors include; two children Phil (Patti) Nietz of St. Charles, Janet (Michael) McCarty of Marco Island, FL, four grandchildren, Josh (Allison) Nietz, Amy Nietz, Matthew McCarty and Molly McCarty, two brothers, Donald (Jean) Schultz of St. Charles and Robert Schultz of Plainview. Also survived by special person in her life, Deb Schaller and family. LeEtta was preceded in death by her husband Walter in February of 1998, and by a brother William Schultz and a sister Dorothy Affeldt. Services to Celebrate LeEtta's life will be 1PM Thursday, December 27th at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles with Seasons Hospice Chaplain Carol L. Shaffer officiating. A reception will follow. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester. Friends may call from 11 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
