Lawrence "Larry" Casper Kreidermacher, 74 of Altura, died Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home.Larry was born September 2, 1941 on the family farm in Oak Ridge to John C. and Dorothy (Siebenaler) Kreidermacher. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Larry was a lifelong farmer. There was nothing he enjoyed more than being on the farm; counting the loads it took to fill the silo or how much milk the dairy truck would take. Larry looked forward to attending the dairy expo each year. He loved John Deere Tractors and was happiest driving his John Deere Gator. Larry loved being around his nieces and nephews and their families. Larry never complained and always had a smile on his face.He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Alex "Bing" (Judy) of Altura, Frank "Scott" (Jeanne) of Altura, Theresa (John) Elliott of Rollingstone, John A. "Jack" of Kasson, June (Guy) Hartung of Elmwood, WI, Judy (Fred) Halfman of Staceyville, IA, Edward (Joyce) of Altura and Thomas of Phoenix, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.Larry was preceded in death by his parents; three infant siblings; nephew, Perry Elliott and a sister-in-law, Jenean Kreidermacher.Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Reverend William Kulas officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Sunday at the church and one hour prior to Mass. Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview is assisting the family with arrangements.
