Larry D. Rolfing, 50, died April 12, 2017 suddenly of a heart attack in Avondale (Phoenix suburb), AZ where he lived. He was the son of Frank and Delight Rolfing, born Jan. 15, 1967. Larry's career was with Roehl, and then Knight Transport as a semi -driver. Larry's beloved Siberian husky, Keena, will join him for eternity. Larry enjoyed traveling to all 48 continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii to vacation. He also made trips to different countries. He was an avid sports fan, going to many pro games. He loved nature, growing beautiful plants in his yard, and feeding animals in need. Larry generously donated to charities. He attended Palm Valley church regularly. Larry will be missed by his family, including: Mother, Dee Fenner; sisters, Linda (Mike) Quam of Elk River, Cindy (Joe Crest) Rolfing of Rochester; brother, Everett (Pat) Rolfing of rural Winona; 7 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Rolfing; and his grandparents, Ben and Florence Rolfing, and Gorden and Lucille Fenner. A service in honor of Larry will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, with Funeral Celebrant Jodi Heim officiating. A reception will follow.
