Laehn Coltan Taylor, 19, of Dover died Monday, October 24th at his home. Laehn was born April 8, 1997 in Rochester to Lenny & Lael (Brown) Taylor and Bill Goetz. He graduated from St. Charles High School in 2015. Laehn had served as a reserve in the Army National Guard. In High School Laehn played football and also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Laehn could make a friend anywhere, as his smile was contagious. His goal in life was to impress his family and make them proud.
Survivors include his mom Lael Taylor, his father Bill Goetz of St. Charles, siblings; Nicole (Juston) Evans, Angelina (Jeff) Littlefield, Michelle (Justin Vincent) Ackman and Christopher Goetz, grandparents; Lawrence "Shorty" & Donna Taylor, Don Brown, Fred (Verlie) Goetz, nieces & nephews; Lindsey, Megan & Ryan Littlefield, Carter, Lila & Trinity Evans, and a new nephew arriving in April. He is also survived by his dog Spike.
Laehn had a great bond with his dad, Lenny, who died last year. He was also preceded in death by grandmothers, Judy Brown and Judy Goetz and an aunt, Jill Ackman.
Services to celebrate Laehn's life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, led by funeral celebrant Jenny Hoff at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Saratoga Cemetery at a later date.
