Kurtis Palmquist

GOODVIEW, MINN. - Kurtis L. Palmquist, 35, of Goodview, Minn. died near his home in Goodview. He was born on October 9, 1970, in Fairmont, Minn. to Dale and Cheryl (Culbertson) Palmquist. He lived most of his childhood in Big Lake, Minn. where he attended school. He lived for the past six years in Goodview, Minn. and worked for T.D.I. in Stockton, Minn. Kurtis enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a very giving man, who cared about helping those in need. He is survived by his grandmothers: Dorothy Palmquist of Houston, Minn. and Virginia Culbertson of Hamilton, Montana; parents: Dale (Jane) Palmquist of Ocala, Florida and Cheryl (Dennis) Graham of New Hope, Minn.; two children: Kurtis John and Alexa of Ocala, Fla.; one sister, Rhonda Palmquist of Victor, Montana; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers and one brother, Robert. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston with Pastor Kathy Wohlers and Rev. Lane Zaffke officiating. Burial will be in the Stone Church Cemetery in Houston. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the church.
