HOUSTON, MN - Krystle J. Kinstler, 74, Houston, MN died on Monday, January 18, 2016, at her home.
Krystle was born on May 21, 1941, in Dawson, MN to Lawrence and Lyla (Simonson) Johnson. Through her childhood Krystle moved with her family to many places due to her father's work. On July 2, 1961, she was united in marriage with Lowell Kinstler in Houston. Krystle and Lowell lived on the same farm in Perkins Valley for over 50 years. Through her life, she was very active in her church. She was currently a member of Looney Valley Lutheran Church in rural Houston. Krystle worked at H and R Block in Houston during the tax season for eleven years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, quilting, sewing, knitting.
She is survived by her husband, Lowell; three children: Sue (Randy) Thesing and Steve (Jodi) Kinstler both of Houston, and Scott (Connie) Kinstler of Lewiston, MN; five grandchildren: Nick (Robin), Jenni (Mike), Brianna, Alex, and Garret; and one step-granddaughter, Hannah; three great-grandchildren: Dan, Vanessa, and Lane, and two siblings: Viva (Wayne) Inners of York, Pennsylvania, and Charlotte (Brad) Leonard of Wood Lake, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Larry, and one sister, Geraldine.
The family would like to thank all of the people at Cross of Christ Church for all of their support and fellowship over the years.
There will be a memorial service for Krystle at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Looney Valley Lutheran Church in rural Houston with the Rev. Jan King officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in Houston.
