Kristi Kay (Swenson) King, 50, of St. Charles died Monday, September 25, 2006 at her home. She was born February 18, 1956 in Winona to Donald and Audrey (Schultz) Swenson. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1974. Kristi married Craig Jackson in 1976 and they later divorced. On April 29, 1988 Kristi married Mark Gordon, they later divorced. In 2003 she returned to St. Charles. On June 14, 2005 she and Bruce King were married. Kristi worked for Walgreen's of Winona and had worked for Walgreen's in Rogers, MN before returning to St. Charles. She had also been a stay at home mom for much of her life. Kristi enjoyed collecting dolls and antique hats. Survivors include her husband Bruce, a daughter Heather (Joe) Kieffer of St. Charles, three sons; Manny Kornezos of St. Charles, Dillon and Tucker Gordon of Elk River, MN, three grandchildren, Zachery, Kailyn and Jaxon Kieffer, nine siblings, Pam (Gary) Doerge of St. Charles; Larry (Jane) Swenson of Springdale, AR; Rick (Joy) Swenson of Bella Vista, AR; Trudy (Jay) Friedl of LaCrescent; Renae (Craig) Hartman of St. Charles; Scott (Sherrie) Swenson of Noel, Missouri; Greg Swenson of Utica; Leah Swenson of St. Charles and John (April) Schultz of Pea Ridge, AK. Kristi was an honorary mother to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, an aunt, Nancy Schultz and a nephew, Adam Swenson. Funeral Services will be 11AM Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with Funeral Celebrant John Wagenaar officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday at Hoff Funeral Home's - St. Charles Chapel. They may also call one hour before services on Friday at the church.
