CHARLES AND FORMERLY FROM ALTURAKeith Delmer Belter, 63 of St. Charles and formerly from Altura, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his home.Keith was born May 28, 1952 in Winona to Delmer and Ruth (Koenig) Belter. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1969 and studied mechanical drafting at Southeast Technical College. For over 20 years, Keith was a rural mail carrier for the post office. Keith married Loreen Stark on August 8, 2008 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was active in the American Legion and Moose Club in St. Charles. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, ginseng hunting, playing cards with family, and hanging out with friends at local pubs. Keith is survived by his wife, Loreen Belter of St. Charles; step-children, Angie (Mike) Horsman of Rochester and their children Dylan and Gabbie, Sheila (Jeremy Johnson) Jonsgaard of Rochester and their children Gavin, Mason, and Ellie, and Jerry (Aunna) Jonsgaard of St. Charles; sisters, Gail (Mark) Walsh and Lisa (Brian) Langseth; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Nicole, and Alex Langseth; mother-in-law, Grace Stark. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Gerald Stark.Memorial service will be held at 12pm, Friday, November 6, 2015 at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service in St. Charles led by Funeral Celebrant Ashley Czaplewski. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
