Keith Curtis Olson Sr. passed away at his home in Yuma, Ariz., on August 16, 2017, with his wife, Mary Ann, at his side. Keith was born on July 6, 1935, in Winona, to Curtis and Daisy (Hicks) Olson. He was raised in Pickwick Valley and attended Upper Pickwick Valley School. Keith served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1955. He had many careers such as bridge painting contractor, farmer, and owner-operator. He was a very skilled hard worker, dedicated to all his careers. Keith had a tough exterior, but was a teddy bear at heart. He had a very special love for animals, especially his dogs, Missy, Smurff, Sammy, Bandit and Sandee. He loved his Fox News; RFD TV; classic country music, especially George Jones, Elvis; old-time music; and the Green Bay Packers. On August 20, 1979, he married his soul-mate, Mary Ann Girtler. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; children, Keith, Jr. (Cheryl), Roxanne (Mike), Ronald, Kevin, and Michelle; step-children, Dr. Jeff (Dr. Maria) Lee, Doug (Ginny) Lee; grandchildren, Chrissy, Susan, Jeremy (Tara), Matthew, Ronnie (Kayla), Samantha, Jacob, Sarah, Levi, and Kaiden; step-grandchildren, Dr. Andrew (Frances), Becca (Terell), C.J., David, Catherine and Geno; four great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dawn Mrozek; mother-in-law, Fern Girtler; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and John Regan; special friend, Bergie; many nieces; nephews; cousins; his four-legged buddy, Sandee; and many other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Bob Mrozek; father-in-law, Norman Girtler; and one great-grandson. A Celebration of Keith's Life will be held from 12-3 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Witoka Tavern. Burial will be in Bush Cemetery.
