Keith L. Bedtka, 59, of rural Dover died Thursday evening March 8th at his home. Keith was born April 25, 1947 in Rochester to Harold and Marion (Boettcher) Bedtka. He graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1965. Following high school Keith studied Tool & Die for two years at Austin Vocational School. He served in the Army from 1967-69 and fought n Viet Nam. After the service Keith worked at various jobs in Rochester until 1974 when he began farming with his dad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He was a member of the St. Charles Pond Jumpers Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Survivors include a brother Dale (Sue) Bedtka of Dover, three nieces and nephews, Leah, Marsha and Alan, special friends; Nikki, Patrick, Caden and Ava Hanley, Jim Hanson and Donna Hannenberger. His parents preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be 11AM Wednesday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with the Reverend David Frederickson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery at St. Charles. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Tuesday at Hoff Funeral Home's, St. Charles Chapel. They may also call one hour before services at the church.
