Kathleen Kay Kalstabakken

Kathleen Kay "Kathy" Kalstabakken, 64, of Rochester died Wednesday morning, March 18, 2009 in the Emergency Room of St. Mary's Hospital. Kathy was born August 10, 1944 in Winona to Carl and Norma (Prudoehl) Kiese. She made her home in St. Charles and worked as a housekeeper for Whitewater Healthcare Center and the Lewiston Villa. Kathy also enjoyed her work as a crossing guard for St. Charles Public Schools and volunteering for Southeastern Minnesota Resource Center in St. Charles. She and Dwight Moldenhauer were married on August 23, 2003. In 2007 they moved to Rochester. Survivors include her husband Dwight Moldenhauer, two sons, Mark (Susan) Kalstabakken of LaCrescent and Rick (Kris) Kalstabakken of Fountain, her mother Norma Kiese of Rochester, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother, Larry (Rosalinda) Kiese of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her father Carl. Funeral Services will be 3PM Saturday at First Baptist Church in St. Charles with Pastor Dan Dunphy officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 5-8PM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles. They may also call one hour before services at the church.
