Kathleen "Kay" (Justin) Cyert, 81, of Winona, formerly of Fountain City, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Lake Winona Manor. She was born October 15, 1936 to Julius and Ida (Schmitt) Justin in Fountain City, WI.
She was one of six children they raised in Fountain City. After graduating from Fountain City Schools in 1954, she started work at the Winona Knitting Mills. She married Ray Cyert and the two spent many wonderful years together until Ray died in 1991. Kay enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary's church in Fountain City as well as knitting, crocheting and watching game shows. She always kept a very clean house and loved her well kept yard. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She always had treats for anyone who came to visit her.
She is survived by her children, Debbie (Ken) DeLong Casey, Laurie (Randy) Mann, Cindy (Dale) Ableidinger, Eric (Sara) Falls; grandchildren, Shane (Ashley), Ryan (Marley), Tana (Michael), Mandy, Jason (Kimberly), Josh (Rebecca), Jessica (Doug), Haley (Cole), Shayla, Aiden; brothers, Allan (Sharon), Ken (Gail), Brian (Deb). Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; parents, Ida and Julius; brother, Larry; sister, Karen and an infant son, Bradley.
A memorial service will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, January 20 with visitation starting at 11 a.m. at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview. In lieu of flowers memorials directed to the family for a donation at a later date. Please view her tribute video and leave a memory at hofffuneral.com
