Karen Gordon Griffin, age 69, passed away on July 2 , after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services were held on July 6 in Warner Robins, GA. The family will again visit with friends and family on Friday, July 10, from 1:00 until 3:00p.m., at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles, MN, preceding graveside service at Hillside Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life in Mauston on July 11 from 2-4 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church, 701 Grove Street. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Central GA Cancer Care, 114 Sutherlin Dr., C-1, Warner Robins, GA, 31088; Bethany Lutheran Church, 701 Grove St., Mauston, WI, 53948; or a charity of the donor's choice. Karen graduated high school in St. Charles, Minnesota. A resident of Mauston for 13 years, she worked at Jefferson Home Health for 11 of those years and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Mauston, WI. She also was known to be a great cook and often fed countless number of kids at her house. She deeply touched the lives of everyone she met and will be dearly missed.Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, Joseph Griffin; daughter Cora (Jim) Dillin, son Eric Griffin, grandsons Colin Griffin, Russell and Andrew Dillin, brother John (Darlene) Gordon, special sister Cindy Koch (Bob) Mittag, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many special "kids".She was preceded in death by her parents George "Tussie" and Cora Larson Gordon.
