St. Charles, June M. Glover, 88, of St. Charles died Thursday, November 22 at Golden Living Center in St. Charles. June was born October 29, 1924 in St. Paul to Lyle and Marie (Larouch) Hall. She grew up in St. Paul on Rice Street near the capital. June worked at the St. Paul Airport where she met William "Pete" Glover. They married on November 5, 1944 in St. Paul, where they made their home until moving to Chatfield in the late 1940's. In 1952 June and Pete moved their family to St. Charles. In St. Charles June worked for Home Produce, later owned and operated June's Apparel. She also sold Avon Products. When June was younger she enjoyed swing dancing at the Prom Ballroom in St. Paul. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. Survivors include three children; Don (Carol) Glover of Mahtomedi, Jim (Sharon Kavaleski) Glover of Utica and Susan Vickerman of White Bear Lake, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a brother Don (Tony) Hall of St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her husband Pete in 2003 and a son Tom in 2010. Services to Celebrate June's life will b 1 PM Monday at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles with Funeral Celebrant Tim Hoff officiating. A reception will follow. Burial will be in Chatfield Cemetery.
