June B. Bublitz

June "Jo" Bublitz, 57, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI, after an eight month battle with cancer. Jo leaves behind son, Bill and his wife, Tricia and two grandsons, Nick and Mikey. Through life's journey, Jo lost many loved ones including her sister, Ole, who passed on with cancer in May 2006. However she is survived by a twin sister, Joan "Nute" Zenke and her husband Jerry and sister, Darlene "Sapphire" Brand and her husband, Frank, brother, John Bublitz, parents, Russell and Florence Bublitz, and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.Jo was born in Winona, MN, on November 4, 1950, to Russell and Florence (Steinfeldt) Bublitz and was raised on the family farm. She had a special fondness for chickens and pigs. Jo's great love in her life beyond her son Bill and family was fixing up and buying old houses which lead her into Real Estate. Jo owned and operated and was broker for Prudential Properties Plus for six years. Jo was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008, at 11:00am at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church with the Reverends James Nelson and Paul Welke officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Pallbearers will be Jeff Brand, Pat Ebert, Ken Troke, Bob Lidberg, Don Sell and Pete Sardegna.
