Lewiston, Judy Kay Forward, 69, of Lewiston died Saturday in St. Charles. Judy was born November 13, 1945 in Winona to Fred and Lorraine (Schott) Kulack. While working as a surgery assistant at Mayo Clinic Judy met Jack Forward. They were married September 3, 1966 in Lewiston. Following their marriage Judy and Jack lived in Urbana, Ill, Texas, Florida and Fort Wayne, IN. They then moved to Puerto Rico, before returning to Lewiston where they raised turkeys for Hubbard Milling. They later opened Forward Machine, designing and fabricating production equipment. Judy and Jack divorced in 1995. He died in March of 2001. Survivors include three siblings; Sandi (Daryl) Erion of Eyota, Roger (Gloria) Kulack of Lewiston and Lori (Hollis) Donehower of Minnesota City, four nieces and nephews; Stacy (Mark) Braun, Shelley (Joel) Mickow, Fred (Jennifer) Kulack and Jeni (Marty) Dorn, 9 & ¾ great-nieces and nephews. Judy also had many special friends, including Bill and Rhonda Schell. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her former husband Jack and a niece Melinda. Judy loved her pets, especially her dog Riley and her many cats that she took in. In memory of Judy, her family invites you to adopt one of her cats. Please contact a family member to assist you.
