Winona, MNJudith I. Boehmke, 81, died Friday, April 20, 2007, at St. Anne of Winona. Judith was born March 17, 1926, to Theodore and Myrtle (Hoff) Olson in Lanesboro, MN. Judith attended Whalan and Lanesboro schools. She married Eldon Carl Henry Boehmke in June of 1947 in Hart, MN. Judith worked at Winona Knitting Mills for 52 years. Judith lived in Hart for over 30 years until moving to Pleasant Valley. Upon her husband's death in 1978, she moved to Winona. Judith was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart and current member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona. Judith is remembered for her love of flower gardening, watching birds, shore fishing and sewing.Survivors include her two sons, Eldon A ."Butch" (Sylvia) Boehmke of Winona, MN and Wayne (Wanda) Boehmke of Ridgeway, MN; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harris (Joyce) Olson of Byron, MN and Wallace (Isabelle) Olson of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Eunice (Richard) Hepfel of LaCrosse, WI and Marcella (Gordon) Nelson of Houston, MN; and God children, Dawn Jorde, Teal Erwin and Gregory Olson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eldon, three brothers, Curtis, Paul and Truman and two sisters, Mavis and Julia.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at 1:00pm, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service ? Hansen Chapel with the Reverend Richard Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Hart cemetery.
