Joseph D. Kramer

Joseph Dean Kramer, 63, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. Joe was born January 26, 1944 on German Ridge in Winona County, MN, to Loren and Grace (Burfiend) Kramer. Joe served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Mae Staack on May 30, 1970, in Winona, MN. Joe was an over the road truck driver for over 30 years.Survivors include his wife, Mae; five children, Terry (Diana) Kramer of Emardo, ND, Lisa (Rick) Schell of Winona, MN, Tom (Molly) Kramer of Winona, MN, Bill Kramer of Winona, MN and Mark Kramer; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Corey, Shaunna, Katie, Ryan, Chelsey, Jessi, William and Aletha; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Lilly Jo; brother, John Kramer of Eleva, WI; and special cousins, Barb, Joyce, Karen and Dorothy. He was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial service to celebrate Joe's life will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 3:00pm at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel with funeral celebrant John Wagenaar officiating. Interment will take place in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
