John "Jack" Cada

St. Charles, MNJohn "Jack" Cada, 71, formerly of Winona, MN, died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at his home in St. Charles, MN. Jack was born November 8, 1933 in Winona, MN to Harold and Rosella (Duresky) Cada. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1957. He married Patricia Wieczorek on February 20, 1960 in Winona, MN. Jack worked for Lake Center Industries for 36 years in Winona, MN. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles. Jack was also a life time member of the Elks Lodge 327 in Goodview, MN, and the Moose Lodge in St. Charles, MN. Jack was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing in his younger years and loved tending to his yard.Survivors include his wife, Pat; three sons, David (Vera Arandjelorich) Cada of Tucson, AZ, Brian (Kim) Cada and Michael Cada both of Rochester, MN; daughter, Karen (Dave) Kulas of Minnesota City, MN; grandchildren, Joshua and Carsen Cada, Kyle and Zachary Cada, Shawna and Mitchell Cada and Whitney Kulas; great grandson, Andrew Cada; brother, Harold (Lillian) Cada of Winona, MN; and sister, Kathy (Tony) Campbell of Bullhead City, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents.A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with the Rev. James Callahan officiating. Private family interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona, MN. Friends may call on Friday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview, MN from 6-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. There will be an Elks Lodge memorial service at the funeral home in Goodview Friday, at 7:45pm.
