Joey Lee Mundt, 35, of Minnesota City, and formerly of Utica, died Tuesday morning at his home.Joey was born March 7, 1973, in Winona, to Larry and Lynn (Ellinghuysen) Mundt and graduated from Lewiston-Altura High School. Joey loved the farm and his Farmall 1206. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheeler, showing off his classic 1969 Chevelle, bowling and collecting toy cars and tractors.He is survived by his parents, Larry and Lynn Mundt of Utica; four siblings, Casey (Erica) Mundt of Utica, Andy (Julie) Mundt of Utica, Lynda (Ken) Troke of Rollingstone and Lisa (Jason) Hoover of Rochester; his maternal grandmother, Lois Ellinghuysen of Lewiston; five nephews, Tanner, Sam, Owen, Orion and Wesley. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lewis and Florence Mundt; and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Ellinghuysen.When Joey was younger, he loved to joke and had a great sense of humor. He loved the Lord and is now walking with his Father in Heaven.Funeral services for Joey will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lewiston Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow in Worth Cemetery, rural Utica.Friends may call at Lewiston Church of the Brethren from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour before services Saturday.
