Joan Loretta Bosch, a long-time resident of the Houston area, died Monday, August 8 at the Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Born in 1945 in Madison, Wisconsin, Joan graduated from Pittsville High School. For many years she lived and worked in Wisconsin Rapids, where she was a popular waitress at the Sugar Bowl Restaurant. She married William Bosch in 1991 and is survived by him.
Joan and her husband enjoyed old automobiles and often traveled to car shows around the country. For many years Joan was an avid hunter and outdoorswoman; she won many awards for her archery skills. She loved playing Yahtzee with her family and friends.
Joan is survived by her beloved twin sister, Jane Newsome of Centerville, Louisiana, her sister Doris Dunbar of Baraboo, Wisconsin, and her brother James Sines of Bakersfield, California. She is survived by sons David Domine, Paul Domine, Travis Domine, and Michael Domine, and stepchildren Jerry Bosch, Joseph Bosch, and Dawn Prewitt. She also leaves behind many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Zachary, Alexander, Riley, Ian, Tyler, Dylan, Amanda, Brandon, Cassandra, Bethany Joe, Tanya, Chaz, Audrey, Mercedes, Cooper, Jackson, Averie.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Houston with the Reverend Pratap Reddy Salibindla, OFM officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Houston and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Houston is assisting the family with arrangements.
