Winona, Jerry LeRoy Schueler, 76, of Winona died Tuesday evening July 22nd at his home. Jerry was born August 12, 1937 in Winona to Robert and Lena (Malenke) Schueler. Jerry worked hard to provide for his family by working two jobs, drilling wells by day with his dad at Schueler Well Drilling and at Winona VanNorman on the evening shift. He liked to ride his motorcycle, his "bad boy" motorcycle image attracted Diane. They married and later divorced. In 1997 Jerry married KarenWynia, 'the sexy waitress' at the Hot Fish Shop. They divorced in 2006 and remarried in 2011. Jerry and Karen loved to dance. The floor would often clear to watch "Fred and Ginger" as they glided across the dance floor. He also loved racing; working as a crew chief for stock car teams at Waumandee, Tri Oval and Stillwater tracks, as well as driving south to watch NASCAR races. He was a loyal member of the Elks Lodge and the Winona Eagles Club. Survivors include his wife Karen, five children; Gregory Schueler of Coon Rapids, Michael (Colleen) Schueler, Barbara Schueler, Jeffrey Schueler and Sean Schueler all of Winona, two step-children, Trish (Scott) Williams of Winona and Sarah (Dave) Beck of Denver, CO, nine grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three siblings, Ann (John) Ramsey of Tuscon, AZ, Vernon "Sonny" (Arlene) Schueler of Winona and Joyce (Jerry) Woodard of Nodine. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters. Services to celebrate Jerry's life will be 11AM Saturday at Hoff Celebration of Life Center Goodview/ Winona led by funeral celebrant Jenny Hoff. Friends may call from 4-7 PM Friday and 10 - 11 AM Saturday at Hoff's. An Elk's Lodge prayer service will be presented at the conclusion of the visitation on Friday.
