Jennifer (Martin) Scripture

Sparta, WI, Jennifer Lee (Martin) Scripture, 42, of Sparta and formerly of the St. Charles area, died Sunday evening August 1 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Jenny was born November 15, 1961 in Rochester to John "Jack" and Joyce (Fix) Martin. She attended St. Charles High School. On July 16, 1988 she and Darrell Kramer were married. They divorced in 1991. Jenny and Dennis Scripture were married on March 31, 1998 in Bullhead City, AZ. They later made their home in Sparta, WI. Jenny had worked for an animal clinic, had tended bar and worked for Kemp Cleaning Service in Sparta. She enjoyed flower gardening and canning. She loved her dogs, Taz and Kenny. Survivors include her husband Dennis of Sparta, mother, Joyce Martin of Dover, fours brothers and sisters; Julie Peterson of Kasson, Jeff Martin of Dover, Jill (Brian) Poole of Kasson and Jon (Mary) of Fountain City, WI, four step-daughters; Stacy (Tim) Mayer of Dover, Shannon (Tom) McConnell of Dover, Shelby (Bryce) Bushman of Pine Island and Angela (Jesse) Hansen of St. Charles, seven step-grandchildren; Cody, Allen, Brittany, Brianna, Brook, Hayden and Ragen. Her father preceded her in death. A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with Rev. Joseph Braudis officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday and 9-10 AM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home's ? St. Charles Chapel.
