Minnieska, Minn. - Jeannine A. Husser, 86, of Minnieska, MN, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Sauer Health Care in Winona, MN.
Jeannine was born on October 10, 1931, in Winona, MN. She was raised in Winona and graduated from Winona Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Francis "Fritz" Husser on February 11, 1956, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Minnieska. Fritz and Jeannine lived in California for a few years while Fritz was stationed there with the U.S. Air Force. They returned to Minnieska and made their life long home there. Jeannine was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Minnieska and a member of St. Anne's Society.
She worked as a greeter at Warehouse Market and Econo Foods in Winona for many years. She was a member of the Red Hatters. Jeannine was known for her famous pickles. She loved quilting, gardening, and family gatherings. Jeannine was a social butterfly who was very proud of her two granddaughters, Ashley and Abby, and bragged to everyone of all of their accomplishments. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two sons: Bruce (Megan) Husser of Buffalo City, WI and Bradley Husser of Freeport, IL; two granddaughters: Ashley and Abby; two close sisters, Connie (Jed) Hagedorn and Kim (Rick) Rockwell along with other extended family and many nieces and nephews.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her husband, and two brothers Daryl and Glenn.
Private family services are being scheduled for a later date.
Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview, MN is assisting the family with arrangements.
