Jeanette L. Seibert, 71, of Altura died Monday, August 10, 2009, following a brief illness with cancer at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN, surrounded by her family. Jeanette was born July 1, 1938, in Lewiston, MN, to Claude and Hazel (Landis) Sumner. In 1955 Jeanette married Earl R. Luhmann and they had four daughters. They were later divorced. In 1974 she married James Seibert which extended her family to three more daughters. They were later divorced. Jeanette was a self employed hairstylist who became manager and operated Regis in the Winona Mall for several years. She moved to LasVegas where she resided for several years and returned to Altura in 2000 upon her retirement. She loved to golf, bake cookies, play card and marbles, and spend time with her family and friends.Survivors include her four daughters, Vicki (Russell) Matzke of Rollingstone, MN, Kim Luhmann of Minneapolis, MN, Debi (Tom) Anderson of Winona, MN, and Jennie (Michael) Fontaine of Terrebonne, OR; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Cheryl (Jeff) Will of Winona, MN, Cindy (Donnie) Mueller of Indiana, and Candi (Jamie) Flores of Portland, OR; six step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; brother, David Sumner of Winona, MN; and sister, Maggie Lawrence of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Claude.A time to visit and celebrate Jeanette's life will be on Thursday, August 13th, from 4:30-7:30pm at Hoff Funeral Homes - Lewiston Chapel where there will be a prayer service at 7:30pm. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Fools Five Road Race for cancer research in Lewiston, MN.
