Jean Marie Schultz, 90 of Elba, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Isidore Health Center in Plainview. Jean was born October 27, 1922 in Watopa Township, Wabasha County to William and Julia (Darcy) Martin. On May 15, 1943, she married Cleysen Schultz in Winona. Jean worked at Camera Art and Knit Craft for many years and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the VFW Auxillary. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, collecting post cards and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.She is survived by her children, Robert (Jane) of New Richland Hills, TX, Gerald (Brenda) of Rochester, Mary Jean (Rick) Matuska of Los Alomitos, CA and Richard (Allison) of Plainview; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Lyons; one brother, William (Elaine) Martin of Plainview and many nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Cleyson; parents; brother, Louis Martin; son Daniel, and grandson, Joey Harlow.Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Elba with the Most Reverend Bernard J. Harrington officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
