Janet S. Kinneberg

Janet S. Kinneberg, 91, of Rushford, died on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford. Janet was born on February 15, 1916, in Rushford, Minn. to Sam and Julia (Sauro) Anderson. She was Baptized and Confirmed at Rushford Lutheran Church in Rushford. She attended School in Rushford and the Wisconsin Business College in LaCrosse, Wis. Janet married Norman Kinneberg on November 11, 1937, in Rushford. She worked for the American Benevolent Society and at Rush Products in Rushford for 16 years. Janet and her husband farmed in the Rushford Area until retiring to Rushford in 1989. She is survived by three sons: Norris (Fran) Kinneberg and John Kinneberg of Rushford, and Verdale Kinneberg of Rosemount, Minn.; two daughters: Janice (Milton) Knutson of Atlantic, Iowa, and Sharon (Ross) Boyum of Peterson, Minn.; ten grandchildren: Steven and Kerrie Kinneberg, Chrissy Barry, David Knutson, Susan Knutson-Pourshahidi, Michelle Johnson, Daniel Boyum, Jodee Hoiness, and Jared and Jed Kinneberg; fifteen great-grandchildren: Chelsea, Justin, Jordan and Cossette Barry, Luke, Max, Roy, and Jill Knutson, Ellie, Emma, and Eva Pourshahidi, Hayden, Hillary, and Halley Hoiness, and Cooper Kinneberg; one sister: Mildred Buross of Rushford; one sister-in-law: Geraldine Anderson of Redding, Cal.; and several nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Archie and Gynther Anderson, and two grandsons: Dean Kinneberg and Brian Boyum. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Rushford Lutheran Church in Rushford with the Rev. Roger Michaelson officiating. Burial will be in the Rushford Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Hoff Funeral Homes - Rushford Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
