Janet K. Campbell, 80, of St. Charles died Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Lewiston Senior Living.  Janet was born Jan 7^th, 1943 in St. Charles to George and Berneice (Hughes) Nihart Probst. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1961.  Janet worked for IBM Credit Union (now Think Bank) in Rochester and did in-home daycare for many years.  She was married to John Campbell for 21 years, raising their two daughters together.  Janet loved to travel. Trips to Australia and Alaska were highlights. She also enjoyed her flower gardens. She entered Lewiston Senior Living in May of last year.

Survivors include her two daughters, Stacey (Pete) Haag of St. Charles and Jennifer (Peter) Thelemarck of Burlington, VT; three grandchildren, Taylor Swenson (Erin), Carter Swenson, and Kaj Thelemarck; step-granddaughter Breana Haag; and two great-grandchildren, Paige and Piper Swenson (and a great-grandson on the way). She was preceded in death by her son, Mark; sister, Carol O’Dell; and brother, Richard Nihart.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles with Pastor Gerhardt Miller of St. Charles United Methodist Church presiding.  Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.  The visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.  www.hofffuneral.com.
