Jane A. Fahrendholz, 90, of Minnesota City died suddenly, Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Community Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Winona to Samuel and Hazel (Christian) Goss. She married August Fahrendholz in Winona, where she was a school teacher her entire life, first teaching in rural Winona and later at Central Elementary School.Jane is survived by her children, Audrey (Robert) Hines of Columbus, Ohio, John (Barb) of Winona; grandchildren, Tessa (Matt) Nelson, Tyler, Trevor and Tanner Fahrendholz, Heather (James) Madden, Brian (Tanya) Romine; great-grandchildren, Braydon and Isabella Romine; brother, Lowell (Doris) Goss of Houston; and sister, Dorothy (Richard) Gilman of Ventura, Calif.Jane will be missed by those who loved her. She was a great mother, mother-in-law, grandma and friend. Her family would like to thank her neighbors and friends for all the kindness shown to her over the years.
