Jamie Skroch

Jamie Albert Skroch, 67 of Winona, died Friday, February 23, 2024 at Winona Health.

Jamie was born May 18, 1956 in Arcadia to Harold and Shirley (Corey) Skroch.  He served in the United States Navy and was proud to be a Navy Veteran.  Jamie worked for the cab company for a bit before beginning his career with CP Railroad where he remained until his retirement.  

He enjoyed stock car races in his earlier years as well as playing BINGO and going to the casino. Jamie was a true provider to the end.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Connie; two sons, James and John Johnson; two step-children, Bonson Mengedoht and Misty (Cory) McDaniel; grandchildren, James and Olivia Johnson, Haley Cowman, Destiny and Braeden Mengedoht and Ri’Anne, Bridgett, Cory Jr. and Annabelle McDaniel; three sisters, Mary Jo (Richard) Eggen, Vicki Koehler (Don Hinton) and Laura (Darrel) Faber; brother, Harold Skroch, Jr.; sister-in-law, Susie Wrycza; brother-in-law, Nathan Grossell and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jennifer Cowman; brother, Jody Skroch; and two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Grossell and Sandy Schewe.
