Jamie Maglothin

Jamie Lynn Maglothin, 42, of Mazeppa died Friday April 21, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Hospitals Rochester, St. Mary’s Campus.

Jamie was born on May 3, 1980 in Petoskey, Michigan to Guy Maglothin and Claire Hibbler.  Jamie grew up north of Dover and graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1998.  She currently lived in Mazeppa with her life partner, Jason Startz and their two children.  Jamie worked at Pro Image Screen Printing in Rochester.  She had previously worked for the City of Rochester, recording deeds, and was a server at Smiling Moose, John Hardy’s and Mr. Pizza.  She collected friends wherever she went and was always there for them.  She enjoyed cooking, camping, water sports and time with family.

Jamie is survived by her longtime partner of 21 years, Jason Startz, her children, Deven and Zoey, mother, Claire (Tracy) Hart, father, Guy Maglothin, and a brother, Eric Brandon Hart, and a half sister, Sonja (Isley) Maglothin.

A Celebration of Life for Jamie will be 3PM, May 3, 2023 at Brothers Bar and Grill, 812 Broadway Ave. South in Rochester. Hoff Funeral Service of St. Charles is assisting Jamie’s family.  WWW.hofffuneral.com.
