ROLLINGSTONEJim Kronebusch, 52, passed away on January 10, 2014 at his home. He lived on the 3-generation family farm for all of his life. Always an independent business owner, he raised hogs, milked cows, grew crops, sold seed, and owned a local trucking business. Through his years, he always was involved with the farm and loved the land on which he lived. He was a first responder/EMT and was a member of the Winona County Sherriff's posse. Jim graduated from Winona High School in 1979 and attended Winona Vocational School. Over the years, he enjoyed racing cars and competing in pool tournaments. He was an outdoorsman, an avid hunter, and loved watching sports. However, his primary focus was always his two children, and loved to watch them compete in their various activities. Jim is survived by his two children, Emma (Luke Chadbourn) Kronebusch and Daniel Kronebusch; his seven sisters, Paula (Dennis) Trevor, Anne Kronebusch, Carol (Kevin) Hubbard, Mary (Mark) Mlynczak, Barbara Carlson, Stephanie Wolle, and Kathy (Ken) Boeckman. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Paul Kronebusch. Jim was loved by all his family and friends and will be missed dearly.Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 15 from 4-8 pm at the Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview.
