James J. Kessler

Winona, MNJames John Kessler, 73, died at his home on Saturday, March 4, 2006. Jim was born September 15, 1932 in Lewiston, MN to Norman and Gertrude (Prudoehl) Kessler. He married Mary Lou Hennessey in Minneapolis, MN. Jim worked for various cable companies in Winona installing cable for 36 years. Jim excelled in many sports in his younger years and enjoyed following them all throughout his life. He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1243 of Winona of which Jim and his family are eternally grateful for their generosity in the last years of his illness. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; brothers, Melvin of SanMateo, California, Kenneth (Kathy) of Denver, CO and Glen of Lewiston, MN; sister, Carol Schultz of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.A celebration of Jim's life will held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1:00pm at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Services - Hansen Tribute Center with funeral celebrant Douglas Hansen officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
