James Edward Miller was born on October 5, 1933 on the family farm north of Dover to Edward and Myra (Miller) Miller. James was a stellar athlete. He played football, basketball, and baseball. After graduation, James worked on the family farm. He enlisted in the Army in 1955 and served for two years. He was an excellent marksman. They worked the family farm their whole life, until his health no longer allowed him. James truly loved spending time out on the family farm. He enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables. In his later years, he cherished the pick up rides with his neighbor buddies and sharing a cup of coffee while visiting at the kitchen table. He looked forward to spending time with his family as it continued to grow. In his later years, James loved going out to the family farm and riding around on his golf cart and seeing the livestock. He will be missed by all.
