Jackie Ranee Reiland

Jackie Ranee Reiland, 38 of Eyota died peacefully Monday, January 27, 2014 at her home. Jackie was born August 26, 1975 in Rochester to Robert K. and Lorraine (Merkel) Reiland. She graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1993 where she was very active in sports. Jackie attended Rochester Community College and graduated from Southwest State. She worked for Mayo Clinic. Jackie was a member of the Hiawatha Sno Seekers and was their Snowmobile Safety Training Instructor. She loved all sports, but softball was her true pride and joy. She was on the National Champion Slow Pitch Co-Ed and Women's Softball Teams, coached softball and played in many area leagues. Jackie also enjoyed riding her Harley, snowmobiling and traveling; but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by her parents, Bob and Lorraine of Eyota; brothers and sisters, Brenda Estal of California, Glenda (Steve) Scott of Pine Island, Mike (Lori) Reiland of Dover and Monty (Barbra) Reiland of Eyota; brother-in-law, Kenneth Biehn of Dover; nieces and nephews, Samantha Biehn, Matthew Biehn, Riley Reiland, Haleigh Reiland and Mason Reiland; Goddaughter, Lyndi Schubert; her beloved dog, Harley; and many close friends.Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Biehn and her maternal and paternal grandparents.Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with the Reverend Mark Woodward officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Dover.
