Inez J. Combs

Lacona, Iowa - Inez Jean (Paulson) Combs, 72, of Lacona, Iowa died on Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, Surrounded by her loving family. Inez was born to Martin and Julia (Gorder) Paulson on April 9, 1935, in LaCrosse, Wis. She grew up in the Peterson area, and Graduated from Peterson High School in 1954. She married Gerald Combs on September 7, 1958, in Rochester, Minnesota. Inez worked at IBM in Rochester, Minn. for many years and at Elderly Resource in Des Moines. She loved animals, her horses, cats, and dogs. Inez is survived by her husband, Gerald; her daughter and greatest joy, Jean (Paul) Lewison of Adams, Minn. Her two grandchildren: Tiffany (Jack) Leland and Timothy (Tina) Lewison; great-grandson, Tristin; brother, Milton (Carol) Paulson of Peterson, Minn.; sisters-in-law: Ardis Paulson of Loyal, Wis. and Shirley (Jerry) Wingert of Preston, Minn.; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Orell Paulson and and infant brother, Charles Paulson. The funeral Service for Inez will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, at Grace Lutheran Church in Peterson, Minn. with the Rev. Ronald Warnes officiating. Burial will be at East Grace Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Hoff Funeral Homes - Rushford Chapel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
