Honora M. Nesler, 85, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN. Honora was born October 4, 1922 in the valley of Rollingstone, MN to Arthur and Margaret (Hengel) Weis. She married Charles R. Nesler on April 9, 1947 in Rollingstone. He preceded Honor in death on September 26, 1953. Along with being a homemaker, Honor began working for Red Owl grocery store in 1956. She started as a meat wrapper and retired as a bookkeeper in 1982. Honor was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone and the St. Nicholas and St. Teresa Society. Honor loved to sew, crochet, cross stitch and quilt. She also loved flowers. Honor had been a resident of Lake Winona Manor for the past 3 years.Survivors include her four children, Char Nesler of Rollingstone, MN, Karl (Cindy) Nesler of Nodine, MN, Mary Jane Reed of Rollingstone, MN and Chuck (Jo) Nesler of Winona, MN; six grandchildren, Jason (Jill) Reed, Shawn (Karen) Nesler, John (Lacy) Nesler, Mark (Jessica Buldak) Nesler, Dan (Alison) Nesler and Denise Bailey; four great grandchildren, Carmen, Shelby, Alyssa and Miranda; and a brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Weis of Rollingstone, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles.A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone with the Reverend Donald Lovas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone on Tuesday from 4-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
