Hiram Carrell Guderian

Dover, MNHiram Carrell Guderian, 100, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Whitewater Health Care Center in St. Charles, MN. Hiram was born February 25, 1905 in Dover Township, MN to Otto G. and Tirzah (Kisro) Guderian. He married Mary L. Lovelace on August 21, 1934 in Eyota, MN. Hiram was a lifelong farmer who also worked for Minneapolis Moline in Chatfield, MN for 20 years as a mechanic. He served on the Dover School Board, drove school bus and had served as justice of peace for Dover Township. Hiram loved to fish and play cards and had been the oldest resident of Dover Township.Survivors include his son, Donald (Sandra) Guderian of Dover, MN; his daughter, Connie (Warren) Phillips of Excelsior, MN; eight grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren; and sister, Rowena Guderian of West St. Paul, MN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and daughter, Carol.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 11:00am at Hoff Funeral Homes ? St. Charles Chapel with the Rev. Sharon Johnson officiating. Spring burial will in Evergreen Cemetery in Dover, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral Homes ? St. Charles Chapel on Wednesday from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
