Hildred M. Rislove, 90, of Rushford died Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford where she had been a resident for the past year and a half. Hildred was born on September 7, 1915, in Houston County, Minn. to Henry and Mina (Dahl) Erickson. She was raised in Rushford where she attended school. In June of 1937, she married Peter S. Rislove. Hildred worked as a Waitress at Niggle's Café, Gambles Store in Rushford and at Winona Knitting Mills, retiring in 1975. Following her retirement she became a Senior Companion through SEMCAC, which she did for 25 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crossword puzzles, crafts and reading. Hildred was a member of the Rushford Lutheran Church. She is survived by three sons: Robert "Skipper" (Janet) Rislove, Doug Rislove and Davis (Mary) Rislove, all of Rushford; nine grandchildren: Heidi, Lynn, Robin, Scott, Ronnie, Shane, Shelly, Ellen and Leah; 14 great-grandchildren: Erica, Nicole, Adam, Kaelen, Trevor, Samantha, Zachary, Casey, Chelsey, Emily, Sonja, Gabriel, Ashley and Brooke; two great-great-grandchildren: Alyvia and Hayden; one very special niece, Mary Boyum of Peterson, Minn.; Her special friend, Ed Fogal of Rushford; her ever-helpful neighbor, Mike Laumb of Rushford; and her favorite pet cat, Sami. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Bonnie and daughter-in-law, JoAnn.
